They were quick, and very professional throughout. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough! My computer is in absolutely perfect working order again. Received my computer back a few days later, well packaged. Only took a few days to verify the problem, and I OK'd the work. I packed up my computer and sent it off to their shop in NYC after opening a ticket on their website. I decided to get a quote from Rossmann Repair. I can do basic soldering but surface mount stuff isn't my forte. Apparently the problem lies with a capacitor that stops working as intended, and needs to be replaced.

Sometimes I could prevent a crash if I could switch back to integrated before it kernel panicked, but not always. I use the free app gfxCardStatus which allows you to manually switch between the integrated and discrete GPUs. It got worse and worse over the years until I could barely use the computer.
